Garage / participant deals

How participant deals work

DJ Crate helps a buyer contact a record owner. The agreement, payment, delivery, and any dispute stay directly between the participants.

DJ Crate is a listings board

DJ Crate does not sell the record, take payment, provide escrow, inspect a copy, or act as an agent for either participant.

Request flow

  1. 1The buyer sends a purchase request, a question, or a trade proposal with 1–3 records from their library.
  2. 2The seller accepts or declines. Telegram contacts are shown only after acceptance.
  3. 3After three days, each participant can independently confirm whether the deal happened.
  4. 4The public counter grows only when both participants answer yes.

Safety checklist

  • Check the pressing, condition, photos, final price, delivery method, and return expectations before paying.
  • Prefer traceable payment and delivery methods; do not share passwords, login codes, or card verification codes.
  • For an in-person exchange, meet in a public place and inspect the record before completing the deal.

Participant responsibility

Each participant is responsible for their statements, local legal obligations, payment, packaging, delivery, and resolving disagreements. Stop the transaction if the details do not feel safe or clear.

Trust without stars

The counter cannot be inflated by a single account: only deals independently confirmed by both participants are counted. Reviews and star ratings are not part of this phase.
